Speak

I am reading the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. Speak is about a girl named Melinda Sordino that is an outcast and loner because, she called the cops at the end of the summer party in 8th grade. When Melinda is at her first day of high school her friends from 1st grade no longer talk to her. Melinda doesn't fit in any group because of the incident at the party she feels like a wounded zebra in the pack. Melinda meets a girl named Heather she is a very preppy girl who cares about being involved, it reminds her of herself when she was in 8th grade. At the party something happened to her and the secret that she hides is why she called the cops at the party. The book is a very interesting to read it keeps you very entertaining and a book that you cant put down.
